SCOTSMAN ICE SYSTEMS TO LABEL PRODUCTS WITH QR CODES 

Vernon Hills, Illinois - January 31, 2013 – Scotsman Ice Systems today announced that all ice machines manufactured in its Fairfax, S.C., location are to be labeled with QR codes.  The QR codes are expected to give service dealers instant access to the warranty registration page of www.scotsman-ice.com.

“The QR code label will help service dealer increase their level of customer service, “ said Rich Gleitsmann, president of Scotsman Ice Systems.  “Service dealers can show the customer whether or not their product is under warranty.”
